UMass CESL promotes learning for life-long, engaged citizenship, partnering with communities on and off campus to work collectively for a more just society.

Support for SL Transportation

Information on the CESL Shuttle to Holyoke partner sites, Monday through Thursday afternoons, is here.

In addtion, a limited amount of transportation funding is available to UMass courses with the Civic Engagement (CE) or Service-Learning (SL) designation in order to transport UMass students to/from community-based service sites.
Not sure if your course already has a CE or SL designation? Check our list here.

To a limited degree, funding is also available for bringing community members to campus or other locations for Service-Learning related activities, for example, transportation for college visits or a college positive activity, for youth who are in mentoring/tutoring relationships with UMass students.

Faculty members who wish to request funding for SL transportation may apply here.
